NoCorny Tracer is a free, open-source screen recorder for macOS and a small web service that turns each recording into a shareable page at /v/ followed by seven characters. The core is free; some features may be offered as a paid plan. Features can change, pause or stop; material changes that affect existing users get reasonable notice where possible.

Sign in is through Google. Keep that sign-in method safe; one account per person. An account that abuses the service or breaks these terms can be suspended or closed.

You own them. The files live in your Dropbox, not on this server. Registering a recording grants the service a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store its metadata and transcript, serve its public page to anyone with the link, and process the file with the services named in the privacy policy to produce the transcript, title and description. The licence ends when you delete the recording or the account, subject to the usage log described in the privacy policy.

A page at /v/ opens for anyone who has the link: no password, no audience list, no expiry. Treat the link as public and do not register anything you would not want seen by someone who gets the address.

Anything illegal where you live or where the service operates; other people's screens, voices or faces without their consent; malware, phishing pages or anything meant to deceive; harassment, threats or hate speech; sexual content involving minors or non-consensual intimate imagery of any kind; content that infringes someone's copyright, trademark or other rights. Such content can be removed and the account closed, with or without notice depending on severity.

Titles, descriptions and transcripts come from a model. They can be wrong, incomplete, biased or tone-deaf; do not rely on them where accuracy matters. Edit the title and description on the video page, or delete the recording to remove its transcript.

The service runs on Dropbox (files and links), Google (sign-in and Gemini), Groq (cloud transcription), Vercel (hosting) and Supabase (database). Their terms govern their part; their outages, and what they do with data once it is in their systems, are outside this service's control.

The Mac app's source code is on GitHub under the licence in that repository (AGPL-3.0); it governs your right to use, change and share the code. These terms govern the built app and the web service.

The service is provided as is and as available, with no warranty of any kind: no promise of uptime, retention, accuracy or freedom from bugs or data loss. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data, recordings, transcripts or links; total liability for direct damages is capped at the greater of USD 50 or what you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim. You agree to cover claims, losses and reasonable legal costs that arise from content you record, store or share through the service.
